The Alpha course is an evangelistic course made up of a series of interactive sessions that help to introduce the basics of the Christian faith.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
How does it work?
Alpha is organised as a series of sessions over 10 weeks, with a weekend away in the middle. Each session starts with a meal, followed by a video by Nicky Gumbel, and then discussion in small groups where you can share your thoughts. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. The talks aim to cover the basic beliefs of the Christian faith.
